What do we really are?
We are spiritual beings!
Thousands of stories abound about our spiritual nature, but somehow they haven't made their way to the mainstream of our culture. Why? The ego preserving itself!
As long as we believe we are small, limited and apart from the universe, the ego is strong.
Let's see the ego in action.
The human nature is being egoist. We say, without noticing that is the ego talking through us.
Consider this. Part of the nature of a horse is to gallop freely. If we were to keep him corraled most likely would be unhappy and become sick. But if the horse had the space to roam and gallop most likely will be happier.
How do we feel as human beings when we care for others? when we hand a loaf of bread to the hungry or a glass of water to the thirsty? We feel good! We feel at peace! We feel serene! For a moment, we could say, we recover our humanity. Why? Because, our nature is love, not egoism.
The world is conquered by the ego, though. That is why we see his messages all over. You are a Chicken! You are a Chicken! You are a Chicken!
But we are not, so there is no need to live fearfully like Chickens, and resentful like Chickens, or violent like Chickens. Fear, resentment and violence are only possible under the illusion of being isolated forms of consciousness. In the recognition of being one, all the ego chains dissolve.
What do we really are?
We are wonderful spiritual beings, limited by a virus of our own creation.
